What this site provides

LocksmithNJ publishes general reference information about locksmith services in New Jersey: how to verify a state license, typical price ranges, and what state rules require of licensed locksmiths. That is the entire service.

What this site does not provide

LocksmithNJ is operated by Optymizer, which is not a locksmith and holds no New Jersey locksmith license. This site performs no lock or key work, dispatches nobody, and does not arrange for anyone to attend your property.

It does not recommend, endorse, vouch for, or refer any specific locksmith business. If you hire a locksmith, that is an agreement between you and that business, and this site is not a party to it and takes no fee from it.

Information, not advice

Everything here is general information. It is not legal advice, and reading it does not create a professional relationship. Prices are ranges observed in the market at the date shown, not quotes, and no one is bound by them. Statutes and state procedures change. For a specific dispute, particularly one involving a landlord, a tenant, or a contested charge, consult a lawyer or New Jersey legal aid.

Verify before you rely

Every substantive claim on this site carries a citation to a primary source, usually a New Jersey statute or a state record. Those citations are there to be checked, and the state record governs over anything written here. If the two disagree, the state is right and this site is wrong, and it would be a kindness to tell us at offer@optymizer.com.

Acceptable use

You may read, quote, and share this material. Do not scrape it at a volume that degrades the site for other people, and do not republish it in a way that implies this site endorses a business.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Nothing in them limits any right you have under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act or any other law that cannot be waived by agreement.
